4th Children's Festival — To Chamogelo tou Paidiou

Three free days in the Municipal Garden from charity To Chamogelo tou Paidiou: games, a bazaar, a different headline act each evening.

To Chamogelo tou Paidiou ('The Smile of the Child'), the national children's charity, runs its fourth Chania festival across three days in the Municipal Garden, open 17:00-23:00 each day: traditional games (hopscotch, sack races, jenga), interactive workshops and a school-supplies bazaar, plus a sweet corner selling snacks and ice cream to support the charity. Each evening closes with a concert from 21:00: Stelios Vamvakis with the 'Ta Sfakia' association on the 25th, Giorgos Stratakis with the 'O Psiloritis' dance group on the 26th, and on the 27th both the Manioudaki Conservatory's children's orchestra and Pantermakia with the 'Stavraetoi' association. Everything is free; proceeds from the bazaar and food stalls go directly to the charity's medical, psychological and material support work for children in Crete. This is exactly the charity-run Family event the aggregators structurally miss because nothing is ticketed.
