Aaach… — ÁMFI at the Archaeological Museum (Night 1)

Fifty minutes of satire and dance taking apart the perfect woman, free in the museum courtyard. Book ahead.

The duo ÁMFI, Ioulia Zacharaki and Varvara Bardaka, take the swagger and the hard edge that Greek culture files under mangia, the stuff reserved for men, and hand it to two women instead. Fifty minutes of dance and satire pulling apart the idea of the perfect woman, with original music by Thanos Sakellaridis and costumes by Lefteris Choudalakis. It runs at the new Archaeological Museum out in Halepa, a modern building with a lot of open space, and the Ministry of Culture is paying for the whole thing, so entry is free. A seat reservation is compulsory and it is the sort of night that fills, so book before you turn up rather than after. Performed without spoken text, so the language is no barrier.
