Aaach… — ÁMFI at the Archaeological Museum (Night 2)
Second and final night of ÁMFI's dance satire at the museum in Halepa. Free, 50 minutes, booking required.
The second and last showing of Aaach…, the fifty-minute dance and satire piece by ÁMFI, Ioulia Zacharaki and Varvara Bardaka, at the new Archaeological Museum in Halepa. It goes after the machinery of stereotype that survives behind the progressive surface of the present, and it does it by taking the swagger Greek culture reserves for men and putting it in two women's bodies. Original music by Thanos Sakellaridis. Entry is free, paid for by the Ministry of Culture under its Όλη η Ελλάδα ένας Πολιτισμός programme, but a seat reservation is compulsory and this is the last chance to see it in Chania. No spoken text, so it plays to any audience.
