Around the World on Two Wheels — Children's Theatre at Palaia Roumata

The same happy bicycle, a night later, in the library courtyard at Palaia Roumata. Free, and made for small children.

If you miss the Ravdoucha night, the bicycle comes down the valley the following evening. Marina Panigyraki's show turns a single bike into stories, fairy tales and games played with the audience, with live music and a light touch of road safety and ecology. The setting here is worth the drive on its own: the courtyard of the public library at Palaia Roumata, an inland village in the Voukolies valley that most visitors never reach. Entry is free, as it is across the Municipality of Platanias' Cultural Summer programme. Come a little early if you want your children at the front, because village audiences fill these courtyards.
