Askeletour at Gaidaros, Vamos: From Thrace to Crete

Askeletour bring a traditional glenti from Thrace to Crete, by way of the islands and Asia Minor, to Gaidaros in Vamos. Sun 18 Oct, 15:00.

A Sunday glenti with a wider map than usual: Askeletour play traditional tunes that start in Crete and travel out through the Aegean islands, the Peloponnese, Thrace and Asia Minor, under the banner 'from Thrace to... Crete'. The invitation is to sing and dance until everyone is one table, which at Gaidaros, the cooperative kafeneio in Vamos, is how Sunday afternoons tend to go. Music from 15:00. Vamos is the old capital of Apokoronas, half an hour from Chania.
