Candlelight: The Four Seasons of Vivaldi

A live string quartet plays Vivaldi's Four Seasons by candlelight in the open-air Lentariana amphitheatre.

The Candlelight series does exactly what the name promises: a live string quartet, a stage banked with real candles, and no distractions but the music. This night is Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the most familiar of all baroque works, played in the open-air Lentariana amphitheatre just uphill from the centre. Doors open 40 minutes before and there is no entry once it starts, so plan to be in your seat by 8:45pm. Tickets start at €16 and it is suitable for ages 8 and up.
