Auditions for the Chania Municipal Children's Choir

The municipal children's choir is looking for new singers aged 10 to 12. Auditions Saturday at 12:00, by prior application.

The Municipality of Chania's children's choir is taking new members, boys and girls aged 10 to 12, and holds its auditions at the Dimitris Vlisidis theatre on the Koum Kapi seafront on Saturday at noon. You cannot simply turn up: an application form has to go in first, by phone to Afroditi Mitsotaki on 28213 41776, Monday and Wednesday 10:00 to 13:30 or Tuesday and Thursday 17:00 to 20:00. Rehearsals then run every Saturday from 15:00 to 16:30 at the same theatre. If your child is younger, the same department runs a separate singing and choral introduction for ages 5 to 9 over an October to December term, at 30 euros for the three months. This is the kind of thing that never reaches an events site, and it is free.
