Monday Street Market — Párko Markopoúlou Laïkí

Monday's neighbourhood laïkí at the old Markopoulou camp, entrance off Malinou Street. 7am–2pm.

The Monday laïkí sets up on the west side of the old Markopoulou army camp, the same open ground that hosts the big summer concerts, with the entrance off Malinou Street. This is a proper local shop rather than a tourist stop: growers, a fishmonger or two, a butcher, seasonal fruit and cheap seasonal veg. Get there early for the best of it; the stalls wind down by 2pm.
