Thursday Street Market — Nea Chora Laïkí

Thursday's laïkí in seaside Nea Chora, a short walk west of the centre. 7am–2pm.

Nea Chora, the old fishing quarter just west of the centre with tavernas strung along the water, takes the Thursday laïkí. It is handy if you are staying near the beach and want a morning of fruit, vegetables, cheese and flowers before the heat sets in. The council recently moved it into the former AVEA factory grounds, so follow the crowd if the usual street looks quiet. Mornings only, done by 2pm.
