Architectural Steps: Guided Tour of Cine Kipos and a Jean Prouvé Short Film

Part of the council's Architectural Steps programme, which takes locals inside the city's landmark buildings, this one opens up Cine Kipos, the open-air cinema in the Municipal Garden that half of Chania grew up in. Architect Kostas Mavrakakis of the Chania Architects' Association leads the tour, and it finishes with a screening of the 24-minute documentary "La maison de Jean Prouvé" (Richard Copans and Stan Neumann, 2004), about the house the self-taught engineer built in Nancy in 1954 from industrial and salvaged parts.
