The finest independent contemporary dance festival in the Eastern Mediterranean, staged across the old town for a fortnight.

Dance Days Chania is in its 16th year and has quietly become one of the most respected contemporary dance festivals in the Eastern Mediterranean. What makes it special is the city itself: performances take place not just in theatres but in squares, courtyards and narrow lanes of the Venetian old town, with the audience following work through the neighbourhood.
