Two Lectures on the Prehistoric Finds from the New Heraklion Airport

Building an international airport turns out to be a large archaeological excavation that nobody planned. Two archaeologists present what the works in the Pediada area of Heraklion have brought up: Dr Alexia Spiliotopoulou on prehistoric settlement across the Pediada as revealed by the airport investigations, and Danai Kontopodi on the landscape as a single monument.
