Alekos Fasianos and Karolos Kampelopoulos — A Meeting in Paris

Two Greek artists who met in 1960s Paris, shown together for the first time. Closes 29 September.

Alekos Fasianos arrived in Paris in the 1960s. Karolos Kampelopoulos, a Greek already living there, built an art collection quietly over decades while working as a hairdresser to the famous. Art was the common ground, and this exhibition puts the two bodies of work in the same rooms for the first time. It sits inside the restored monastery in Splantzia that houses the Kampelopoulos collection, which is worth the ticket on its own. Every visit is guided and runs about an hour, so allow the time and book ahead if you are coming outside the usual hours. It has already been extended once and now closes on 29 September.
