Halloween Open Mic & Karaoke Costume Night at Bras de Frères

Five minutes on the mic, then karaoke, in costume: Workhub's Halloween open mic returns to Bras de Frères. Friday from 21:00.

After last year's Halloween night went down well (the organisers' words: 'brilliant, and slightly chaotic'), it is back. Workhub, the coworking space, and Loupa PR run an open mic at Bras de Frères in the Old Town from 21:00: stand-up, poetry, a song, a story, anything that fits in about five minutes, with beginners as welcome as old hands. Karaoke takes over once the open mic is done. Costumes are very much encouraged, gothic, spectacular or plain silly, and there is talk of a prize of 'questionable value' for the best one.
