Jesus Christ Superstar: Cantilena Choir in concert

Cantilena and the Manioudakis Conservatory youth choir sing Jesus Christ Superstar at the Grand Arsenal, Sun 4 Oct, 20:00. Free.

The Cantilena choir, under the wing of the Lyceum of Greek Women of Chania, teams up with the youth choir of the Manioudakis Conservatory for an evening of vocal music built on Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's rock opera. Giorgos Kaloutsis conducts, Alkyoni Malekaki is at the piano, Stavros Zoulakis narrates and baritone Giannis Kassotakis joins them. Expect excerpts rather than the full show. It is a Municipality of Chania concert inside the Grand Arsenal on the harbour and entry is free, so it makes an easy Sunday night out; come a little early for a good seat.
