Nikos Karkanis — Opening Night at Kontylies

Kontylies is the Cretan music room in the middle of town, on Kydonias Street, where a different lyra player takes the stage most weeks and the tables fill with people who came to dance rather than watch. It is marking its Opening on Friday 2 October with Nikos Karkanis, a name you will have seen on village panigyri posters all summer, and the poster promises the full set: food, drink and music from 21:00.
