Molière's The Imaginary Invalid
Vladimiros Kyriakidis as Argan in Reppas and Papathanasiou's Molière. In Greek, 21:30 in the moat.
Molière's hypochondriac has been so thoroughly absorbed into Greek that the phrase means the same thing here as it does in France, and most people using it have no idea a playwright invented it. Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou, the pair behind a generation of Greek television comedy, have adapted and directed it, with Vladimiros Kyriakidis as Argan, convinced that every twinge is the end. It is a comedy about fear of illness that ends up being kind about it, which is a harder trick than it sounds. Performed in Greek, so bring the language or skip it.
