The Ntouente theatre company's big, colourful Wizard of Oz is back in Chania for a Saturday afternoon, this time indoors at the Ellinis, the old cinema-theatre on Tzanakaki Street. Haris Romas directs a new stage version of the story every child already half knows: the yellow brick road, a Scarecrow, a Tin Man and a Lion, and a wizard who is not quite what he seems. There are two shows on Saturday 17 October, at 16:00 and at 18:15, so it fits around lunch or an early dinner. Tickets are €10 on more.com. Performed in Greek, but the songs and costumes do most of the work for the youngest audience.
