Marios Frangoulis — Cheria Ftera

The tenor brings his Cheria Ftera programme to the East Moat: new Greek songs, classics and world repertoire.

Frangoulis has spent a career refusing to pick between opera, musical theatre and Greek song, and Cheria Ftera is the show where that finally reads as one thing rather than three. He premiered the new Greek songs in June with Konstantinos Giourtsidis, and the rest of the set moves between beloved Greek standards and international repertoire, arranged by Alexandros Trambas. A five-piece band, artistic direction by Paraskevas Karasoulis, and the East Moat's stone acoustic doing the rest. Tickets run from €20 in Zone C up to €35 for VIP.
