Cretan Night at Chrysavgi — Antonis Martsakis

Two neighbouring cultural associations, Chrysavgi's own Mouletes and Kallithea's Agios Charalambos, join forces for this one in the yard of Chrysavgi's old primary school, in the Municipality of Platanias inland from Maleme. Antonis Martsakis leads the music, and a joint glenti like this is usually a bigger, livelier night than either association could put on alone. It starts at 21:00 on Sunday 23 August. No entry price is published, which for a village association night usually means a modest at-the-door contribution rather than a set ticket. Chrysavgi is a small hamlet, so treat this as a genuine local occasion rather than a show staged for visitors.
