The night before the 28 October parade is a late one in Chania, and Konaki, the music meze house on the Akrotiri road, is marking it with lyra player Antonis Martsakis from 22:00 on Tuesday 27 October. Konaki bills this and the following afternoon as its "two last glentia", so treat it as the season's send-off at a place that runs on meze, raki and Cretan music.
