Little Printers — A Stamp-Printing Workshop for Kids

Free two-hour printing workshop for ages 6 to 12 at the Russian Barracks, Saturday 11:00. Book by phone from 28 September.

The Russian Barracks, restored by the Municipality of Chania as a home for the area's living traditions, runs free Saturday activities for children, and on 3 October the subject is printing. Kids aged 6 to 12 experiment with stamps, colours, letters and patterns, find out how one design repeats into a composition, and print their own pieces on paper, fabric and other materials, picking up how the printer's trade actually works along the way. It runs for two hours, from 11:00 to 13:00. Booking is required: ring the municipality's Culture Department on 28213 41613 on working days, and bookings open on Monday 28 September.
