NAZA: special screening at the 14th Chania Film Festival

NAZA, the Venice-awarded documentary by two of the No Other Land directors, screens Wednesday 28 October, 15:00, Cultural Centre.

The Chania Film Festival has secured a special screening of NAZA, the investigative documentary by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, two of the four co-directors of the Oscar-winning No Other Land. It won the Special Jury Prize at Venice this year. In secret night-time conversations on Tel Aviv rooftops, 24 Israeli officers and soldiers, all anonymous, talk about the surveillance, targeting and remote-killing systems used in Gaza. It is 80 minutes, in Hebrew and English with Greek subtitles only, and it is a hard, important watch rather than an easy afternoon. Wednesday 28 October at 15:00 in the Chania Cultural Centre (Pnevmatiko Kentro).
