Panagiotis Margaris — Mesógeios

Classical guitarist Panagiotis Margaris plays a tribute to Mediterranean music at the Lentariana. Monday 3 August, 9pm.

The acclaimed Greek classical guitarist Panagiotis Margaris brings his programme Mesógeios to the open-air Lentariana amphitheatre. It is a love letter to the music of the Mediterranean: Portuguese fados and songs from southern Italy woven together with pieces by Lucio Dalla, Jacques Brel, Nino Rota and Mikis Theodorakis, alongside solo guitar works of his own. Singer Katerina Ververi joins him on stage. A warm, unhurried summer evening for anyone who loves the guitar and the songs that travel the whole sea. Doors and start at 9pm.
