A proper Apokoronas village panigyri, held in the courtyard of the Emprosneros primary school for the feast of Agios Titos. The twenty euro entry is not a ticket in the usual sense: it covers a full menu, with children up to twelve at ten euros, so you sit down and eat rather than queue at a stall. The music comes from Chrysanthos Makrakis and Nikos G. Manioudakis, backed by Manos Fioretzis and Dimitris Chatzakis on laouto and Giorgos Makrakis on wind and percussion, which is a serious line-up for a village yard.
