Retzakas Trail Run 2027

A two-day winter trail run out of Plokamiana school, in the hills of western Kissamos.

A winter trail race in the hills behind Kefali and Chrysoskalitissa, run over two days from the old primary school at Plokamiana by the cultural and athletic association of Vathi, the Mousagores. This is deep western Kissamos, about as far from the resort strip as the prefecture goes, and February there is green, wet and empty in the best way. Details of distances and entry are published by the organisers closer to the date. Worth planning around if you are the kind of visitor who would rather run a hillside than lie on a beach.
