As an Open Question — New Permanent Exhibition at the Museum of School Life

The Museum of School Life opens its new permanent exhibition, arranged by colour rather than by date.

The Museum of School Life is in the old primary school at Nerokouros, and its new permanent exhibition refuses the obvious chronological march through Greek education. Curator Maria Drakaki has built it in four sections distinguished by colour: a colour wheel section, a black and white section, a blue section and one of primary colours. Historical documents sit alongside artworks, which is a more interesting way into the subject than a wall of school reports. The opening is on Thursday evening and is followed by three days of activities under the title Synthesis. Free.
