To Nima tis Zois (The Thread of Life): Greek song and dance show

Songs and dances from all over Greece tell a life from birth to rebirth. Mon 2 Nov, 20:00, Chania Cultural Centre. Free entry.

A Monday-night show at the Pnevmatiko Kentro that strings together folk songs and dances from every corner of Greece to tell the story of a life, from birth through love and marriage to death and renewal. It is staged by the Chania dance club Dale Paso together with the Region of Crete, with several other dance groups taking part, and it has the backing of the UNESCO-affiliated International Dance Council. Curtain is at 20:00 on Monday 2 November and entry is free; there is a donation box on the night for Orizontas, so bring a few euros.
