Books Change Hands: 5th Free Book Bazaar at the Municipal Library

Hundreds of donated books free to take home at the Municipal Library of Chania, behind the Town Hall. Thursday 22 October, 15:30-20:30.

The Municipal Library of Chania is given books every day, and the duplicates it cannot shelve go back out into the world: this Thursday hundreds of them are simply given away at the fifth edition of its book bazaar. Titles on every kind of subject are laid out in the library's reading room, and anyone can browse and take home the ones they want, free. It runs from 15:30 to 20:30 on Thursday 22 October at the library, Ypsilanton 30, entered from behind the Town Hall. Bring a bag and an open mind; half the fun is finding the book you would never have bought.
