Cretan Night at Agia — Nikos Zoidakis

Nikos Zoidakis plays a glenti in the exhibition centre car park at Agia, just outside Chania town. €7 entry, time to be confirmed.

The local athletic association A.E. Kydonias puts this one on in the car park of the EMEX exhibition centre at Agia, a village just south west of Chania town on the road toward the prison and the Kissamos turn-off. Nikos Zoidakis, a lyra player who has already played the Skines Orange Festival earlier this month, leads the music. Entry is €7 and bookings go through 698 4895441. It falls on Thursday 27 August, though the organisers have not published a clock time, which for a car-park glenti like this usually just means it starts once it gets dark. Ring ahead if you want to plan your evening around it.
