Marco Rota — Disney's Living Master

One of the great living Disney artists, exhibited and in person from 25 to 27 September. Free.

Marco Rota drew Donald Duck for decades and is one of the most significant living artists in Disney's history, which makes his presence at a festival this size genuinely surprising. The exhibition of his work runs the full seventeen days, and Rota himself is in Chania from 25 to 27 September to meet readers. If you grew up on Greek Komix editions you have held his drawings without knowing his name. Free, and open right through the day in the Old Customs House on the harbour.
